State Aid Deadlines and How They Shifted Under Early FAFSA

This map was developed by the PPY Task Force as a resource to compare state grant deadlines between 2016-17 and 2017-18 (prior to and following adoption of Early FAFSA). It is our hope that this tool will be helpful to financial aid administrators in their planning, advising, and advocacy efforts. The information on this page is from Session GS3 "FAFSA®, Central Processing System, and FSA ID Updates", presented at the 2016 Federal Student Aid Conference in Atlanta, GA and from the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
