For your information, 2000 miles is a little far to come for Homecoming. I attended Tech in 1943 and 1944. I was Director of Bands at Tech from 1962 until 1972. I was Head of the Music Dept from 1965 until 1972. Please tell all who might have been there at that time hello for me. I wish you all well. Regards Jimmie Howard Reynolds

MESSAGE FROM JEFF:

If you missed homecoming last year or have never been back to Tech since you graduated, you are missing something special. I have been keeping the Alumni Band together for the last 5 years or so, and this Homecoming was the best one yet. We had over 40 players in the band and nearly 80 returning members in attendance. There were also 65 people at our gathering Friday night at Pizza Inn. We also did some terrific tailgating! Love that Louisiana food !

I have a band theory:

"If you have friends from your band era that you know will be at homecoming, then you are more likely to come back also."

So the best way to make sure that happens is to call them today and schedule them to be there with you. That way you can share the memories together! Do it. Call them today!
