EVERYONE including family, children, and friends are invited to all events. Please include your extra guests when counting attendees and pre-ordering to allow us to better plan events.

All events are optional. Please just share with us what you plan on attending.

TICKET and STADIUM SEATING INFORMATION!!!

• Those PLAYING with the Alumni Band (MARCHING into the stadium with Tech Band) will be able to get into the game FREE. Tech Band will be entering the field as a block from the North Endzone and do the stadium march in just prior to pre-game. 

• Everyone NOT PLAYING in the Alumni Band must purchase a ticket. Everybody age 3+ must have a ticket to get in.  Jeff will have reduced tickets costing $8.00 Saturday at the tailgating event. Come and get them between 12:00-3:00 pm. (regular price is $16.00)

• Tech Band seating has moved! They will be sitting in Section Q on the East side (next to the steps on the South end).

• Because the band seating has moved, they will be surrounded by visiting fans. These fans have tickets with seat numbers specified. So, Alumni Band (non-playing) will block an area in Section QQ directly ABOVE the Tech Band.  If there are not many visiting fans, we can always move down later.

• We ask that everybody not playing in the Alumni Band (including kids), please STAY OUT of the Tech Band set.  Thanks ...!

TAILGATING 2007

We have been promised that we can take the hill once again. What a perfect tailgating spot!

Meet us there after noon sometime (officially from 1:30-kickoff).  We will be on the East side of the stadium, on the corner hill just outside the track fence. Look for the Alumni Band Banner! Click below for a printable map. Park your car and plan on staying.

We will eat starting about 2:00 and from then on, it will just be eat and relax until 4:00 when the pre-game festivities start. Tailgating will cost you only $5 a person (ages 3 and under free). Bring your friends and anybody else you have with you. There should be plenty for everybody. We also would remind you to stop by the store on your way and bring your favorite bag of cookies or chips to share with everybody (this seriously keeps the cost down). The main course hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, and sodas will be provided.  We are expecting quite a turnout!

"Preliminary" SCHEDULE 2007

7:00 PM - Pizza  Alumni Band Gathering at Pizza Inn (1108 Cooktown Road)
We will have buffet and the back room to ourselves. Cost is about $10. Pay for your own as we finish. Come out and meet everyone. (Last year we had 60+ at this event!)

10:00? PM - Pep Rally  MEMORIAL GYM. The pep rally time is uncertain, but the location is known.

8:00 AM  - Alumni Band Rehearsal  Band Building Large Hall. Please be on time. Administrivia – Pass out music, instruments, and shirts. Go over schedule and goals for Alumni Band. Go through warm-ups and music. Those who are NOT playing in the Alumni Band, you might want to stop by and watch the Tech Band rehearse in the stadium.

9:30 AM  - On-field Practice  Alumni Band meet Mr. Robken in the stadium for On-Field Pre-Game Alumni Formation. You will need to be at this rehearsal if you want to go onto the field with band.

1:30 PM - Gametime - TAILGATING   - EAT  2:00-2:30
Alumni Band Tailgating at Stadium.  Delicious!  Bring friends and family, but PLEASE prepay (registration form) $5 per person + bring your favorite snack or dessert to share with everybody. Main dish and drinks to be provided

4:00 PM - Lineup for Pep Rally and Game

Tech Band and Alumni Band line up at stadium for game. Alumni Band will be part of the Tech Band marching block. We will march with Tech Band to Pep Rally and President’s House before entering the stadium with Tech Band. Put cases and extra personal items in stadium before you line up.

6:00 PM - Game Time  (See ticket information at the top of this page!)   Alumni Band member PLAYING with the Tech Band will enter the stadium with Tech Band and sit with the Tech Band.  Everyone else will need a ticket and can pick a section close to the band.

Immediately After the Game
Alumni Band Music and Instrument Check In at Band Hall.
